Money laundering case: Judicial custody of Nawab Malik extended till April 4

Mumbai, Mar 21 : A special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) court here on Monday extended the judicial custody of Maharashtra Minister and NCP senior leader Nawab Malik until April four in a case of alleged money laundering and property deal with family members of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim. Malik, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on February 23 and is currently lodged in Arthur Road jail, has moved an application before the PMLA court seeking direction to jail authorities to provide a bed, mattress and chair during his stay in jail. After hearing the prosection, Sessions Judge R K Rokade allowed the same. AAA SS 1821
