New Delhi/Doha, March 26 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated the Indian Embassy in Qatar for organizing a mega yoga event that saw participation by individuals from a record 114 nationalities. The yoga event, held on Friday by the Indian Sports Centre at the Aspire Zone, made it to the Guinness World Records. The PM said that yoga is ting the world in pursuit of good health and wellness. “Yoga is ting the world in pursuit of good health and wellness. A great effort by @IndEmbDoha of bringing together people from several nations for practising Yoga.” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar congratulated the Government of Qatar, the Indian Comm ty Sports Centre and the participants for the record-making event. “Glad to see Yoga’s global appeal manifesting in a new #GuinnessRecord. 114 nationalities were represented at this Yoga session in Qatar today. “Congratulate the Government of Qatar, Indian Comm ty Sports Centre and the participants,” he said in a tweet.
