Mumbai, April 15: Actor Mihir Ahuja is thrilled by the positive reception of his recent web series, “Maa Ka Sam,” released on Prime Video. In a recent conversation, he praised his co-star Mona Singh, calling her a remarkable talent. Mihir believes that Mona possesses a unique quality similar to that of the late actor Irrfan Khan.
Mihir lauded Mona Singh’s acting skills, stating that both she and Irrfan Khan have a special ability to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the set. He shared, “As an actor, you can feel the environment on set. Mona Ma’am does this in the same way. It is said that Irrfan Sir would arrive on set early and observe everything closely. When acting blends seamlessly with the work or activity, it feels authentic. Mona Ma’am has that quality too.”
He further remarked, “Mona Ma’am deeply understands and embraces the set’s atmosphere. This is something I aspire to incorporate into my own career.”
Mihir also praised Mona Singh’s professional attitude, emphasizing her punctuality. He noted, “If I start talking about her, I could go on forever. One thing I admire is her commitment to time. She never waits for the assistant director to call her. If she is ready, she arrives on set independently. This is a significant lesson I am learning from her and trying to implement in my life.”
In “Maa Ka Sam,” alongside Mona Singh, chef Ranveer Brar also plays a key role.
