Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue are now engaged, just weeks after Fiebig’s ex-husband T.J. Holmes married Amy Robach. Shue confirmed their engagement to People, expressing gratitude for their relationship.
Shue said, “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.” The couple’s relationship developed amid the fallout from the high-profile affairs of their former partners, culminating in public divorces.
The engagement announcement comes one month after Robach and Holmes exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Arkansas. Their relationship, made public in November 2022, was marked by controversy when intimate photos were leaked, leading to their dismissal from ABC News in January 2023.
Robach and Holmes insisted their relationship began after they separated from their spouses, stating in a podcast that they were not having an affair while still married. Following the scandal, they finalized their divorces in 2023.
Fiebig and Shue reportedly began dating earlier this year. Shue mentioned to People that he and Fiebig bonded through their common experiences, saying, “You don’t know how you meet the person who’s right for you. It just happened.”
