Mumbai, April 10, : Reality shows are often rife with dramatization, but sometimes you get a slice of something so dramatic that you just do not want it. Kangana Ranaut’s latest captivity based reality show ‘Lock Upp’ is a tough game for sure, but like every other tough game, it has its soft spots. Coming in for a dramatic reveal, Iranian actress Mandana Karimi came up with a shocking secret which turned the whole flow of the show in a different direction. In a promo shared by the show makers, Mandana spoke about the time when she was going through a separation from her ex husband Gaurav Gupta and how she had a secret affair with a film maker of some renown at that point. “The time that I was struggling with my whole situation, my separation, I did have a secret relationship. My relationship was with a very well-known director who talks about women’s rights. He’s an idol to many people. We planned a pregnancy…and when it happened, he…,It just destroyed so much for me.” The promo ended with shots of those around her wiping tears or crying. Mandana also could not control her emotions and broke down in tears. Even Kangana Ranaut was seen wiping away a tear from her eyes and looking upset by the end of it. Mandana shared her deep sorrowed thought about the same, “I didn’t want to give birth to a child when he is not aware about his father”. All the other contestants looked teary eyed, as did host Kangana Ranaut. Saisha and Payal gave her hugs and ‘The Queen’ consoled Mandana by saying, “In the city of dreams, life is so much of brutality and survival that no one talks about such incidents”. ANV RN
