New Delhi, May 18: Former West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC leader Mamata Banerjee extended her congratulations to VD Satheesan on his swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Kerala. She expressed hope that the new government will work for the welfare of the people of Kerala.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhu also congratulated VD Satheesan, stating on X that it was a privilege and joy to witness this historic and inspiring moment of democracy. He expressed confidence that under Satheesan’s leadership, Kerala would progress towards development, prosperity, and new achievements.
Senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel remarked on X that a new beginning has commenced in Kerala. He congratulated VD Satheesan and all cabinet members taking the oath. Baghel attended the grand ceremony alongside senior Congress leaders, including National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
