Noida, May 4: The Sector-126 police in Noida have achieved a significant breakthrough by dismantling an organized drug supply racket. Two notorious suspects have been arrested, and a substantial quantity of foreign narcotics has been seized.
The estimated value of the confiscated drugs is around 700,000 to 800,000 rupees in the international market. According to police reports, the arrests occurred on May 3, 2026, based on beat policing and local intelligence near Pushtha Road in Sector-94.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Shivam Kunwar (26), a resident of Sector-1, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, and Nitin Chauhan (25), a resident of Sadar Pur, Sector-45, Noida. Authorities recovered approximately 500 grams of OG (high-quality foreign cannabis), two mobile phones, two electronic scales, a Honda City car, and packaging materials including 20 polyethylene bags and 16 envelopes.
Investigations revealed that this gang operated in a highly organized manner. The suspects weighed the narcotics using electronic scales, dividing them into smaller portions before packaging them in transparent pouches and envelopes for easy concealment. These packets were primarily supplied to students and youth residing near PG accommodations, hostels, and educational institutions.
Through this network, the suspects were reportedly making significant profits. The police have registered a case against both individuals at the Sector-126 police station. Currently, efforts are underway to locate other members of this racket, with plans to dismantle the entire network.
