Major Administrative Reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh: 62 IPS Officers Transferred

Bhopal, May 3: The Home Department of Madhya Pradesh has executed a significant transfer of 62 IPS officers, impacting senior ranks and district-level postings across the state. The orders were issued late Saturday night.

In the new directives, Ravi Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the Special DGP of Training and will oversee the Police Academy located in Bhopal’s Bhouri area. Rajababu Singh has been designated as the ADGP of Railways.

DP Gupta will now manage community policing, RTI, public service guarantees, cooperative fraud, police regulations, and research and development. Solomon Yash Kumar Minj has been assigned to handle the Complaint Cell, Human Rights, and Welfare Accounting Department.

Amit Singh has been transferred to the position of DIG of Armed Forces in the Indore Range, while Avadhesh Kumar Goswami will serve as DIG at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal. Amit Sanghi has been moved to the DIG Home Guard/SDERF position in Bhopal.

Virendra Kumar Singh has become the DIG of the Narmadapuram Range, and Prashant Khare has been sent to the Police Headquarters. Manish Kumar Agarwal has also been appointed as DIG at the Police Headquarters.

Manoj Kumar Rai, Riyaz Iqbal, Rahul Kumar Lodha, and Simala Prasad have been transferred to various DIG positions at the headquarters.

At the district level, Asit Yadav has been transferred to the Gwalior Range, Vivek Singh to the Shahdol Range, and Shailendra Singh Chauhan has been appointed as Additional Commissioner (Law and Order) in Bhopal. Kumar Pratik will serve as DIG of Narcotics in Indore, while Shivdayal has been assigned to the headquarters. Mayank Awasthi has been appointed as Additional Commissioner in Indore, and Arvind Tiwari has become the Commandant of the 34th Battalion in Dhar.

Suraj Kumar Verma is now the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Bhind, Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia is the SP of Shivpuri, Gurukaran Singh is the SP of Rewa, Deepak Shukla is the Commandant of the 32nd Battalion in Ujjain, Aman Singh Rathore is the DCP in Indore, Anurag Sujania is the SP of Sagar, Sachin Sharma is the SP of Dhar, Vahini Singh is the SP of PTC Indore, Vikas Kumar Sahawal is the DCP in Bhopal, Dharmraj Meena is the SP of Morena, Sameer Saurabh is the SSP of Radio Bhopal, Rajat Saklecha is the SP of Chhatarpur, and Agam Jain is the SP of Khandwa. Manish Khatri has been appointed as AIG at the headquarters, Sunil Kumar Mehta as DCP in Indore, and Devendra Kumar Patidar as SP of Jhabua.

Ramsharan Prajapati has been named AIG at the headquarters, Sundar Singh Kanesh as SP of Rail in Jabalpur, Rajesh Vyas as SP of Neemuch, Vinod Kumar Singh as Commandant of the 24th Battalion in Ratlam, Pankaj Kumar Pandey as SP of Rural Bhopal, Prakash Chandra Parihar as SP of Pandhurna, Dilip Kumar Soni as SP of Agar Malwa, Rajendra Kumar Verma as SP of Rural Indore, Vikrant Murab as SP of Anuppur, Surendra Kumar Jain as SP of Mauganj, Ashish Khare as SP of Dindori, and Ankit Jaiswal as SP of Railways in Bhopal.

Rajesh Raghuvanshi has been appointed as SP of Mandla, Motiur Rahman as Commandant of the 9th Battalion in Rewa, Shrutakirti Somvanshi as Commandant of the 13th Battalion in Gwalior, Mayur Khandelwal as SP of Datia, Sonakshi Saxena as SP of Sehore, Shiyaz KM as SP of Singrauli, Anand Kaladgi as SP of Damoh, Krishna Lal Chandani as SP of Seoni, Ayush Gupta as DCP in Bhopal, Adarshkant Shukla as DCP in Bhopal, Narendra Rawat as DCP in Indore, and Abhishek Ranjan as DCP in Indore.
