Thane, April 13 : Thane district in Maharashtra reported 9 new cases of Covid-19, taking the case tally to 7,08,858, an official said on Wednesday . No Covid related deaths were reported, hence the death toll remained at 11,883 in the district. The mortality rate in the district was 1.67 per cent, he added. In neighbouring Palghar district, the Covid-19 case count has gone up to 1,63,600 while the death toll was 3,407 an official from Palghar said. XR NV ACL1130
