Maha logs 98 fresh Covid cases

Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 17 : Maharashtra has recorded 98 new Covid-19 cases and no death in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said here on Sunday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,75,218 and the death toll remain to 1,47,827. Meanwhile,132 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,27,265. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.12 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent . Presently, 626 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals , the bulletin added. Meanwhile ,3 positive cases were reported in Beed district of Marathwada region of Maharashtra while in rest of seven districts no one case was reported ,the bulletin further added. VKB GNK
