Maha logs 59 Covid cases

Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 19 : Maharashtra has reported fifty-nine new Covid-19 cases and no deaths in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Tuesday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,75,904 and the death toll remain to 1,47,827. Meanwhile,71 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,27,443. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.12 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent . Presently, 604 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals , the bulletin added. Meanwhile ,only one positive case was reported in Beed district of Marathwada region of Maharashtra and no one cases was reported in the rest of seven districts in the region,the bulletin further added.
