Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 15 : Maharashtra has recorded 103 new Covid-19 cases and five deaths in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said on Friday. With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 78,75,551 and the death toll goes up to 1,47,826. Meanwhile,77 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,26,980. The state’s recovery rate significantly came down to 98.11 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent . Presently, 745 active patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals , the bulletin added. Meanwhile, six positive cases were reported across the two districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra including 4 cases in Beed district and 2 cases in Parbhani district, while in rest of six districts no one case was reported ,the bulletin further added.
