Shivpuri, March 26: Central Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced on Wednesday that a week-long free health camp held in Shivpuri district, Madhya Pradesh, has officially been recognized by the India Book of Records.
This multi-specialty health camp took place from March 17 to March 24 at the Shivpuri District Hospital, organized jointly by the Madhav Rao Scindia Health Service Mission, Rotary Regional Medical Mission, and the Madhya Pradesh government.
The camp provided facilities ranging from the diagnosis of complex eye, dental, and orthopedic diseases to advanced medical consultations and high-tech robotic surgeries. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, this medical camp ensured that every patient received timely and high-quality treatment.
This initiative not only strengthened access to healthcare services but also opened new avenues for medical care for people living in rural and remote areas.
Doctors were available for consultations both in-person and online, conducting diagnostic tests and offering complex treatment services, directly benefiting thousands of families in the region.
Notably, Shivpuri district falls under the Guna Lok Sabha constituency, represented by Minister Scindia, who oversees communications and development in the northeastern region.
Expressing his happiness over this achievement, Scindia remarked that this record is not merely a statistical milestone but a fulfillment of the commitment based on the principle that serving humanity is serving God.
He emphasized his goal of ensuring that no poor or needy person in the region is deprived of better healthcare facilities. The minister also extended heartfelt congratulations to the Rotary Club, all doctors, paramedical staff, and volunteers for this historic achievement.
In a statement, he noted that this record is not just an event but a symbol of collective spirit of service, exemplary management, and unwavering commitment to public welfare. He further stated that this massive camp provided thousands of patients with completely free, high-quality healthcare services under one roof.
