Bhopal, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh recently visited the United Arab Emirates, where he toured the B-EAH headquarters in Sharjah. During his visit, he extended an invitation to the group to invest in the state. An official statement released by the government revealed that on the third day of his trip, Yadav held a high-level bilateral meeting with Khalid Al Huraimel, the Group CEO and Vice-Chairman of B-EAH.
The discussions focused on implementing environmental protection initiatives, smart city development, circular economy practices, and advanced waste management solutions in Madhya Pradesh. Yadav also inspected treatment centers for various types of industrial waste, sewage, waste processing, and inert material disposal.
During the talks, Yadav encouraged B-EAH to invest in municipal solid waste and waste-to-energy projects within the state’s municipalities, proposing a technology partnership. He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly advancing in clean energy and sustainable urban development. The digital, AI-enabled, and circular economy capabilities of B-EAH align perfectly with the state’s vision for smart cities and clean energy initiatives. This partnership could significantly benefit the expansion of electric vehicle fleets and renewable energy projects in the region.
Yadav highlighted Indore, recognized as India’s cleanest city, as a model for solid waste management and bio-CNG initiatives. He proposed that B-EAH collaborate with Indore to develop modern solutions aimed at achieving zero-waste landfills.
Additionally, Yadav formally invited Khalid Al Huraimel to participate in the Global Investors Summit-2027, set to take place in Bhopal next year. He urged the B-EAH Group to consider Madhya Pradesh as a key destination in their upcoming global expansion plans. The Chief Minister also praised the group’s AI-enabled, net-zero-ready headquarters, designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, along with its various advanced facilities.
Established in 2007 as a public-private partnership, B-EAH has become a leading international group in environmental, renewable energy, green mobility, and technology sectors, employing over 13,000 staff from 46 nationalities. The group has set global standards with over 90% landfill diversion rates in Sharjah and operates a commercial-scale waste-to-energy plant.
