Ujjain, May 15: Continuous efforts are underway for water conservation in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that on the occasion of Kshipra-Ganga Dashahara, collective labor will be organized across the state. On Friday, Yadav inspected development projects in Ujjain in preparation for the Singhast-2028. He reviewed the road widening and the work done at Ram Ghat.
He stated that the government is working with a comprehensive plan for development projects. These initiatives are designed to benefit both the city and the pilgrims visiting the area in the future. We are closely monitoring all our projects.
After inspecting the development works, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav told reporters that a collective labor initiative is planned for the entire state by June 30, coinciding with the Kshipra-Ganga Dashahara. Water conservation efforts will involve public participation at rivers, canals, wells, stepwells, and ponds. Madhya Pradesh is leading the nation in water conservation efforts.
Yadav emphasized that water is life. The tradition of celebrating Ganga Dashahara and the Kshipra Parikrama was initiated years ago to promote water conservation.
