Bhopal, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : Senior Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya of Madhya Pradesh’s government has publicly expressed regret over a recent statement he made regarding councilor Sandhya Yadav. This incident occurred during an event in Indore, where his comments about Yadav’s fitness were met with backlash from the Congress party, which labeled the remarks as disrespectful to women.
In a video statement, Vijayvargiya clarified that significant development projects have taken place in Yadav’s ward. He stated that his comments were misinterpreted by Congress members. “Sandhya is like a daughter to me. I have raised her like my own child. There are no ill feelings on either side,” he explained. He also expressed disappointment over Congress’s decision to politicize his remarks, noting that his own daughter is of similar age to Yadav.
