Madhya Pradesh Government to Establish New Company for MSME Support

The Madhya Pradesh government plans to launch a new company to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the state.

Bhopal, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : The Madhya Pradesh government is set to create a new company aimed at providing enhanced support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the establishment of the “MSME Industrial Development Company” during a ceremony in Bhopal, coinciding with the state’s 71st foundation day.

Yadav emphasized that this new entity will play a crucial role in facilitating essential industrial infrastructure, including land, across various sectors. Modeled after the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, this state-owned company will focus exclusively on promoting and developing the MSME sector.

In a significant policy shift, Yadav revealed that private investors will now be allowed to develop industrial parks, with the state government providing a grant of ₹5 million per hectare. He also assured that land would be made available for MSMEs in every district within the next two months to accelerate industrial growth and investment.

During discussions with young entrepreneurs about their investments and future plans, Yadav pledged the government’s full support for their innovations and investments. He stressed that the prosperity of the state would only be meaningful if economic growth is positive, robust, and inclusive, allowing all segments of society to participate in development.

Yadav also highlighted that the continuous availability of petroleum in the country, despite global crises, is a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s capable leadership. He noted that under Modi’s guidance, India’s energy capacity is rapidly increasing, steering the nation toward self-reliance.

Looking ahead, Yadav stated that the state’s future hinges on investment, industry, and innovation. In the 2025-26 period, 13 new industrial zones covering 220 hectares are set to be developed, while thousands of beneficiaries have already received loans under the Chief Minister’s Entrepreneurship Revolution Scheme.

Chetan Kashyap, the state’s MSME minister, remarked that the Chief Minister’s efforts to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s unique advantages at various investment conferences have made the state a top choice for investors. He added that last year, 1,250 plots were allocated to entrepreneurs, and this figure is expected to rise to 3,000 in the current fiscal year.
