Madhya Pradesh Establishes Four Special Courts to Combat Exam Cheating and Paper Leaks

Madhya Pradesh has formed four special fast-track courts to address exam cheating and paper leaks, aiming for swift justice in such cases.

Bhopal, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : The Madhya Pradesh government has taken a significant step to tackle cheating and paper leaks in competitive and board examinations by establishing four special fast-track courts. This initiative makes Madhya Pradesh the first state in India to create such courts for expeditious hearings related to examination fraud.

According to official announcements, these special courts will focus on a rapid legal process for cases associated with cheating and paper leaks. The objective is to resolve cases within three months of filing charges. Special prosecutors will represent these cases in the fast-track courts, which will be located in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur.

The fast-track court in Bhopal will handle cases from several districts, including Sehore, Raisen, Betul, Narmadapuram, Harda, Rajgarh, and Vidisha. Similarly, the Indore court will oversee matters from Indore, Dhar, Ratlam, Jhabua, Mandsaur, Ujjain, Devasa, and the surrounding Malwa-Nimar region.

The Gwalior fast-track court will address cases from Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Shivpuri, Guna, Datia, Ashoknagar, and Tikamgarh. Meanwhile, the Jabalpur court will manage cases from Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Chhindwara, Shahdol, and other districts in Mahakaushal and Bundelkhand.

The state government has appointed special prosecutors to ensure effective presentation of evidence, proper management of witnesses, and focused legal representation in these cases. This structured approach aims to accelerate the judicial process and facilitate organized hearings.
