Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Visits Gujarat to Attract Investment

Gandhinagar, August 13: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Gujarat on Wednesday to attract investment. During his trip, he met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at his residence in Gandhinagar.

Yadav participated in the ‘Mega Investment Dialogue’ and a roadshow held in Ahmedabad before this courtesy meeting. Gujarat’s Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi and Minister of Tribal Development Jayaram Gamet were also present at the meeting.

This meeting comes at a time when the Madhya Pradesh government is working to strengthen investment relations with industrial groups in Gujarat. During the investment dialogue in Ahmedabad, CM Yadav presented the investment opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh to entrepreneurs and invited them to participate in the proposed Global Investors Summit-2027.

The focus of the event was on sectors such as textiles, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial expansion.

According to the state government, Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals worth ₹8,635 crores during the dialogue in Ahmedabad. These proposals are expected to create 5,785 job opportunities and are linked to various sectors, including cement, packaging, food processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, engineering, chemicals, aerospace, and defense.

Under the investment promotion program, Mohan Yadav also held over 15 one-on-one meetings with representatives from major industrial groups. These discussions focused on investment proposals, industrial expansion, and sector-specific investment opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh.

The Chief Minister emphasized the potential for increased economic cooperation between the two states while inviting Gujarat’s industrial sector to participate in the Global Investors Summit-2027. He referred to Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat as “twin brothers,” highlighting Gujarat’s industrial and business experience and Madhya Pradesh’s abundant land, water resources, and strategic geographical location in the country. These attributes complement each other.
