Patna, May 3: A rally titled “Let’s Walk for Knee” was organized in Patna to raise awareness about knee-related diseases. The event was hosted by Paras Hospital Patna and saw a large turnout of participants. Dr. Ahmad Abdul Hai and Dr. Anil provided detailed insights during the program.
Dr. Anil spoke to the media, stating, “The primary aim is to spread awareness about knee health and fitness among the people of Bihar and Patna. The knee is a crucial part of the body. If your knee is not functioning well, you won’t be able to walk properly. If walking stops, life stops.”
He emphasized, “I urge anyone with knee issues to be vigilant, take care of their knees, and seek treatment promptly if any problems arise. We organized this rally to spread that message.”
Dr. Ahmad Abdul Hai added, “Health is a significant gift from God. If we do not remain aware of our health, we will pay the price later. Staying physically active is essential for better health, along with maintaining a proper diet. Keep moving forward. Those who can do this tend to stay healthy.”
He noted that the knee joint is the most vital joint in the body. If you can walk properly, you are in good health. There are several ways to protect your knees, with surgery being the last resort.
Knee problems are increasingly prevalent in today’s lifestyle. Common issues include arthritis, ligament injuries, or cartilage wear due to aging. This condition is particularly observed in women. To alleviate these issues, it is crucial to maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly. Avoid sitting with bent knees for extended periods, and consult a doctor for severe problems.
