Leaders Pay Tribute to Keshav Hedgewar on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, March 19: The birth anniversary of Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder and first Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is being celebrated today. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with several central ministers and chief ministers from various states, paid their respects.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared a post on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the RSS’s founding Sarsanghchalak and nationalist thinker Hedgewar, I offer my heartfelt tributes. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar’s visionary approach to connect youth with nation-building has grown into a vast banyan tree. His efforts have revived India’s cultural consciousness, establishing a strong tradition of patriotism, discipline, and social unity. His inspiring life will continue to instill in citizens an unwavering sense of duty, sacrifice, and dedication to the motherland.”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, “On the birth anniversary of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, a devoted seeker of Mother India and the founder of the RSS, I bow down in reverence. Your profound and vibrant thoughts will always inspire the youth of the nation to serve the country and uplift society.”

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid tribute to Hedgewar, stating, “His disciplined, dedicated, and sage-like life continues to inspire all of us to work tirelessly with the spirit of ‘Nation First’.”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed, “On the birth anniversary of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the pioneer of the nation’s cultural renaissance and a devoted worshipper of Mother India, I offer my heartfelt tributes. Hedgewar dedicated his entire life to the unity and integrity of India and the organization of youth. The RSS has completed a century of service, becoming a symbol of service, values, and organizational strength worldwide. Inspired by his dedicated life, we all continue on the path of national service with the mantra ‘Rashtray Swaha, Rashtray Idam Na Mama’.”

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma honored Hedgewar, stating in a post on ‘X’, “His dedicated life for nation-building and the idea of ‘Nation First’ will always remain an inspiration for us all.”

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami remarked, “Dr. Hedgewar’s visionary leadership and unwavering patriotism have awakened national consciousness, serving as a source of inspiration for all of us. His establishment of the RSS has made a historic contribution towards organizing, empowering society, and dedicating it to national interests. His entire life is a remarkable example of discipline, sacrifice, dedication, and loyalty to the organization.”
