
New Delhi, March 23: On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with several prominent leaders, paid homage to the great revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru. They remembered the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of these heroes.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared a post on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru were pivotal figures in the Indian independence movement. They inspired the youth with their thoughts and actions for the freedom of our motherland. The echoes of their valor instilled fear in the British regime. Remembering these heroes, who faced the gallows for the nation’s freedom, fills every fiber of my being with patriotism. On their ‘Martyrs’ Day’, I salute them on behalf of a grateful nation.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also posted on ‘X’, expressing, “Heartfelt remembrance on the martyrdom day of the immortal martyrs Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. These brave patriots sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom, setting an unparalleled example of courage, sacrifice, and love for the nation. Their spirit and ideals continue to inspire every Indian to serve the nation. This dedication to our motherland will always motivate us.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked on ‘X’, “The sacrifice of the immortal martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, who ignited the flame of revolution, is a golden chapter in India’s history. Their courage, dedication, and love for the nation will inspire us for centuries to come. Today, on Martyrs’ Day, I pay my humble tribute to these brave souls.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma honored the martyrs, stating, “Their courage and love for the country remain the greatest source of inspiration for all of us.”
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya posted, “On the martyrdom day of the great revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, I offer my humble tribute. Their indomitable courage, sacrifice, and dedication to the nation’s freedom are etched in the annals of Indian history.
