Ceremonial Reception was accorded to King Willem-Alexander & Queen Maxima of the Netherlands in New Delhi Monday morning. King of Netherlands, and his wife met President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Later, both Dutch king and his queen also visited Rajghat and paid floral tributes to Mahatama Gandhi. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands arrived in New Delhi last night on a five-day visit to India.
During the visit, the King of the Netherlands will hold meetings with top Indian leaders to enhance island economic and political cooperation. This is his first state visit to India since he ascended the throne in 2013. They will travel to Mumbai and Kerala after New Delhi.
