Kejriwal and Punjab CM Mann Meet Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, August 31: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, visited the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru. They congratulated the founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, on the organization’s 45th anniversary.

In a post on the social media platform X, the spiritual leader noted that Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal, and Manish Sisodia visited the Bengaluru Ashram to extend their greetings on this significant occasion.

He also praised the organization’s initiatives aimed at assisting farmers and promoting drug rehabilitation.

Accompanying his social media post was a video showing Sri Sri Ravi Shankar welcoming Kejriwal and the Punjab CM upon their arrival at the ashram on Saturday.

A few days prior, former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader H.D. Deve Gowda also visited the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru. During his visit on August 26, he engaged in discussions with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the 45th anniversary celebration of the organization.

In May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the 45th anniversary celebrations of the Art of Living Foundation in Bengaluru, where he inaugurated the newly constructed Meditation Temple in the presence of the spiritual leader and launched several other initiatives.

During the event, PM Modi addressed the attendees, discussing spirituality, public participation in nation-building, environmental conservation, and the role of youth in creating a developed India.

On the occasion of the Meditation Temple’s inauguration, the Prime Minister remarked that this initiative reflects the spirit of service and collective welfare. He stated, “Today, we inaugurated the grand and divine Meditation Temple. When intentions are pure and actions are driven by a spirit of service, every effort yields positive results. Regardless of circumstances, we are all under the lotus’s shade. With Gurudev’s blessings, this lotus will elevate the nation to new heights.”

Highlighting Bengaluru’s contributions in both technology and spirituality, the Prime Minister emphasized that the city has played a crucial role in strengthening India’s cultural and spiritual identity on a global scale.

He further underscored India’s diversity and cultural unity, stating that the essence that binds the nation together is the spirit of living for others.
