Mumbai, May 18: Renowned director Karthik Subbaraj and legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja are set to collaborate for the first time on a film. This project marks Karthik’s tenth directorial venture, while it is considered Ilaiyaraaja’s 1540th film, making it a significant milestone for both artists.
Karthik Subbaraj is regarded as one of the most innovative directors of his time. He has carved a unique niche in Indian cinema through his storytelling techniques, use of music, and deep character development that consistently captivates audiences. He has long been a fan of Ilaiyaraaja and has often paid tribute to the composer by incorporating his music into his films.
Ilaiyaraaja has expressed his excitement about this collaboration, stating, “For me, cinema and music have always been intertwined with emotions.
