Karnataka Bank trades higher as its gross advances rise 4.87% in Q3FY22

Karnataka Bank is currently trading at Rs. 63.70, up by 0.75 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 62.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 63.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 64.45 and Rs. 63.10 respectively. So far 62643 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 81.80 on 11-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.55 on 23-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 63.25 and Rs. 60.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1978.04 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 14.74%, while Non-Institutions held 85.26%.

Karnataka Bank’s gross advances have aggregated to Rs 56655.16 crore as of December 31, 2021(Q3FY22), a growth of 4.87% to Rs 54026.39 crore as of December 31, 2020 and a growth of 1.90% to Rs 55601.22 crore as of September 30, 2021.

The Bank’s CASA deposits aggregated to Rs 24549.40 crore as of December 31, 2021, a growth of 10.59% to Rs 22198.77 crore as of December 31, 2020 and a growth of 3.35% to Rs 23755.08 crore as of September 30, 2021. The Core Deposits grew by 6.27% Year on Year while sequential growth over September 2021 is at 1.96%.

Karnataka Bank operates as a private sector bank. Its products and services include current account, demand, time, cumulative, cash certificates, insurance linked savings bank deposits, resident foreign currency accounts and senior citizens deposit schemes.
