Mumbai, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is once again making headlines for her bold remarks. This time, she has responded to comments made by Rakhi Sawant during a recent podcast, sparking a fresh debate on social media. Rakhi’s comments included personal and offensive remarks about Kangana and BJP leader Smriti Irani.
In her response, Kangana took to Instagram to share a lengthy note. She expressed that it’s not just Rakhi but many individuals who question the character of successful women out of jealousy and ego. She emphasized that women should stop feeling weak or humiliated by such attacks. “It’s unnecessary to constantly prove oneself,” she stated.
Kangana further criticized Rakhi’s attempts to gain favor for success, suggesting that despite her efforts, Rakhi has not achieved even a basic job. “It takes certain qualities and talent to secure any job, even a sweeper’s position,” she wrote. “Whether favored or not, she isn’t going anywhere, so she should sit back and keep watching my reels while crying.”
The controversy erupted following Rakhi’s podcast comments, where she made sexual innuendos and offensive remarks about BJP leaders, which quickly went viral on social media. During the podcast, Rakhi questioned why Prime Minister Modi was looking elsewhere and what he saw in Kangana, Smriti, and other women that warranted their ministerial positions. She claimed she could offer him the same things they had.
The exchange has highlighted ongoing issues surrounding the treatment of women in the public eye and the challenges they face from within their own ranks.
