Kangana Ranaut Advocates for Strong Leadership Amidst Political Turmoil

Kangana Ranaut emphasizes the need for strong leadership in India while attending a cultural event in Raipur during the Navratri festival.

Raipur, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut participated in the ‘Dholida 2026’ event in Raipur on Saturday night, one of the largest Navratri Garba celebrations in the city. Speaking on Sunday, she addressed the Kolkata stampede incident, the opposition’s calls for regime change, and her experiences during her visit to Chhattisgarh.

Wishing everyone well for Ashtami, Ranaut expressed her delight at joining Garba for the first time in Raipur. She noted that Garba, originating from Gujarat, has now spread across the country, marking a positive trend.

Commenting on the opposition’s statements regarding a change in government, Ranaut stated, “Such petty actions constantly remind the nation of the need for strong leadership. Just look at what happened in France last night; everything was set ablaze. From historic buildings to shops, looting occurred everywhere. People are witnessing this. The current situation is reminiscent of a third world war. The opposition’s behavior clearly indicates why India needs strong leadership, and why we require Prime Minister Narendra Modi now more than ever.”

Regarding the stampede at the Chorbagan Durga Puja pandal, she remarked, “This is a deeply tragic incident. It’s heartbreaking that during such a joyful festival season, many people are engulfed in sorrow. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the affected families and urge everyone to avoid crowded places, especially with major festivals like Dussehra and Diwali approaching.”

Ranaut also shared behind-the-scenes moments from a photoshoot on Instagram, expressing her joy in wearing traditional attire that showcases the country’s rich cultural heritage. She wrote, “It brings me great joy to wear our traditional crafts and cultural legacy. Being in Chhattisgarh for the Garba festival is wonderful. Here’s a little BTS from the photoshoot.”

She concluded by stating, “Navratri is a celebration of femininity, and Garba is the dance of life. At the center of it all is the goddess (Shakti). Wishing everyone a happy Navratri.”
