Mumbai, April 28: Central Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia concluded his three-day visit to Shivpuri on Monday. During this visit, he focused on addressing public grievances, encouraging youth participation, and enhancing infrastructure development. He announced the initiation of development projects worth approximately ₹200 crores aimed at accelerating the overall growth of the district.
At a public hearing held in the Kota region, Scindia reviewed 782 applications, resolving several issues on the spot and instructing officials to expedite pending cases.
He emphasized that to ensure transparency and timely resolutions, each application is being registered through a token-based system linked to an online tracking mechanism.
Key discussions included the Ayushman card, Below Poverty Line cards, certificates, and issues related to welfare schemes.
The public hearing was part of a comprehensive campaign conducted in Lukwasa, Bhonti, and Kota, where over 3,000 citizens directly presented their grievances to the central minister and district officials.
Earlier in the day, Scindia interacted with meritorious students in the village, honoring those who passed Class 10, Class 12, and competitive exams. He encouraged students to set high goals, stating that India is progressing rapidly and they should contribute to nation-building while fulfilling their family responsibilities.
He also noted that nearly 70% of the top performers were girls, symbolizing an increase in women’s empowerment.
While addressing an event at Rajiv Gandhi Technical University in Shivpuri, Scindia engaged with students and assessed the campus facilities. He proposed the establishment of a robust student council and alumni network to strengthen the institution’s development.
He stated that by incorporating students’ suggestions, the institution could evolve into a high-level college, with upcoming industrial projects creating opportunities for engineering students.
Reiterating his comprehensive vision, Scindia mentioned that his efforts are not limited to resolving complaints. The goal is to ensure overall development by creating opportunities for youth and strengthening infrastructure.
