July 2 Panchang: Worship Lord Vishnu and Sun God, Abhijit Muhurat from 12:04 PM to 12:57 PM

New Delhi, July 1: The Panchang holds significant importance in Hinduism. Before commencing any auspicious work, travel, investment, or worship, it is essential to consult the Panchang. This calendar is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.

On July 2, 2026 (Thursday), the second date of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Ashadha will last until 9:38 AM, after which the third date will begin. The month of Ashadha is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the Sun God, making worship during this time particularly fruitful.

On Thursday, Amrit Kaal will occur from 12:21 AM to 2:06 AM the next morning, while Brahma Muhurat will be from 4:13 AM to 5:01 AM.

Sunrise will be at 5:49 AM and sunset at 7:12 PM. The moon will rise at 9:11 PM and set at 8:26 AM the following day.

According to the Panchang, on July 2, 2026, the sun will be in the Ardra Nakshatra, ruled by Rahu. The moon will transit through the Uttarashada Nakshatra and then enter the Shravana Nakshatra.

On this day, Harshan Yoga will not be effective. Vaidhriti Yoga will be in effect until 11:09 AM, followed by Vishakumbh Yoga.

The Abhijit Muhurat, considered the most auspicious time of the day, will be from 12:04 PM to 12:57 PM. During this period, significant tasks, worship, or business can be initiated without concern for Rahukal or other inauspicious times.

Rahukal will be from 2:10 PM to 3:54 PM, Gulika Kaal from 8:57 AM to 10:41 AM, and Yamgand from 5:28 AM to 7:12 AM. Traditional beliefs advise against starting new ventures during these times, as they are considered inauspicious.

On July 2, the sun will transit through Gemini, while the moon will be in Capricorn.

A directional Shool will be present in the south on July 2, indicating that travel in this direction should be avoided. If travel is necessary, certain astrological remedies should be followed.
