Judicial Custody of 11 Accused in Red Fort Blast Extended Until November 21

New Delhi, October 1 (Daily Kiran) : A special court in New Delhi has extended the judicial custody of 11 individuals accused in the Red Fort blast case until November 21. This decision was made during a hearing at the Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday, where all accused were presented via video conferencing.

The court’s ruling follows a previous session where it acknowledged a charge sheet filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The next hearing will focus on framing charges against the accused.

The blast occurred near the Red Fort on November 10, 2025, resulting in 13 fatalities and injuring over 24 others. The NIA submitted a comprehensive charge sheet last month, comprising 75,000 pages. It implicates a total of 12 individuals, identifying Umar Un Nabi as the primary conspirator. Nabi, who was also a suicide bomber, died in the attack and is named in the charge sheet.

Other individuals named in the charge sheet include Zameer Ahmed Ahangar, Tufail Ahmed Bhatt, Dr. Shaheen Saeed, Mufti Irfan Ahmed, Jaseer Bilal Wani alias Danish, Dr. Adil Ahmed, Yasir Ahmed Dar, Dr. Mujammil Shakeel, Amir Rashid Ali, Ahmed Dar, and Shoaib.

The NIA continues its in-depth investigation, revealing significant details in the extensive charge sheet. All eyes are now on the upcoming hearing set for November 21.
