JEE Main 2026 Results Released: 12 Candidates Achieve 100 Percentile

New Delhi, February 16: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 on Monday. Candidates can view and download their results through the official website.

Earlier, the NTA confirmed that the results would be released on February 16. Accordingly, the final answer key was published in the morning, followed by the results in the evening.

A list of candidates who scored a perfect 100 percentile has been released, featuring 12 students. Among them are Shreyas Mishra (Delhi), Narendra Babu Gari Mahit (Andhra Pradesh), Shubham Kumar (Bihar), Kabir Chhillar (Rajasthan), Chiranjib Kar (Rajasthan), Bhavesh Patra (Odisha), Anay Jain (Haryana), Arnav Gautam (Rajasthan), Pasla Mahit (Andhra Pradesh), Madhav Viradia (Maharashtra), Purohit Nimai (Gujarat), and Vivek Sharad Maheshwari (Telangana).

This year, a total of 1,304,653 candidates appeared for the exam. This includes 452,825 from the general category, 160,958 from EWS, 517,336 from OBC-NCL, 129,902 from Scheduled Castes, and 43,632 from Scheduled Tribes.

The Session 1 exam was conducted in a computer-based format from January 21 to January 29. It was held in two shifts daily, with the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Students who pass the JEE Main Session 1 are eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced exam. Those who qualify for the JEE Advanced will undergo a multi-stage counseling process, making them eligible for admission to IITs, NITs, and other institutions.

The NTA has stated that there will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of scores, and any correspondence regarding this matter will not be accepted. Candidates found using unfair means during the exam will not receive their results.
