Jaleel demands workers payment

Aurangabad, Mar 5 : Aurangabad MP Imtiaz Jaleel on Saturday demanded immediate payment of four months arrears of honorarium by fulfilling the pending demands of Asha volunteers and group promoters in Aurangabad district. In his press statement Mr Jaleel stated that,in this regard he had informed District Collector ,ZP CEO, District Health officer and Aurangabad M cipal Health Officer through letter. Asha volunteers and group promoters who are the backbone of health in Aurangabad district provide timely services in any difficult situation. Asha workers, who played a significant role in the vaccination period and did not pay their dues on time due to their remarkable work in the time of Covid, are facing starvation in their families today. This is a serious matter and embarrassing to the entire health system. It is frequently stated by the government that most of the money of Central, State and District is being spent on health. There is no money to give to Asha workers who provide services in the health sector day and night, so where did the money go, alleged Mr Jaleel. It may noted that Asha volunteers and group promoters met Mr Jaleel and informed him about the injustice being done to them. VKB JM 2040
