Jaipur, March 9: The Jaipur Polo Team, under the leadership of Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh, has continued its impressive performance this season by clinching victory at the prestigious SMS Gold Vase. They triumphed in a closely contested final against Krishna Polo, winning 6-5.5.
The final was a hard-fought battle, with both teams exchanging momentum on the field. Jaipur started strong, gaining an early lead of 2-1.5 by the end of the first chukker through aggressive attacking pressure. Krishna Polo responded in the second chukker, with Vishal Singh Rathore leading his team to a narrow halftime advantage of 3.5-3.
In the third chukker, Jaipur shifted gears and regained possession, capitalizing on scoring opportunities. HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh spearheaded the attack with clinical finishing, pushing the team ahead 5-3.5.
