
Kolkata, May 12: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), Eastern Region, has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 49 Hospitality Monitor positions on a contractual basis.
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview, medical fitness, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
Applicants must possess a full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a central or state hotel management institute recognized by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology/UGC/AICTE/ Government of India. Alternatively, a BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from Indian culinary institutes under the Ministry of Tourism or a B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from government-recognized universities is acceptable. An MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management is also valid.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 27 years, calculated as of April 27. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
The walk-in interviews will be held on May 18, 19, and 20, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the IRCTC Regional Office, 3, Koilaghat Street, Ground Floor, Kolkata-700 001. Candidates attending the interview are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the application form, original documents along with photocopies, and a recent passport-sized photograph.
To download the application form, candidates should first visit the official IRCTC website. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the notification link for the relevant position. They can then download the application form provided in the notification, print it out, fill in the required information, and bring it to the interview center on the specified day.
