Ircon International trades higher on incorporating subsidiary, JV company in India

Ircon International is currently trading at Rs. 47.10, up by 0.55 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 46.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 46.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 47.45 and Rs. 46.70 respectively. So far 124664 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 54.20 on 11-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 39.70 on 19-Mar-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 48.10 and Rs. 45.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4434.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.38% and 23.44% respectively.

Ircon International has incorporated a subsidiary and Joint Venture Company named ‘Ircon Renewable Power’ on January 13, 2022 as Special Purpose Vehicle (with 76% shareholding of Ircon International and 24% shareholding of Ayana Renewable Power) for setting up of 500 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Project awarded by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency.

The company has subscribed to 38,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each aggregating to Rs 3,80,00,000. Ircon Renewable Power is incorporated in India and is yet to commence its business operations.
