Mumbai, May 4: The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have set a formidable target of 229 runs for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. Batting first after losing the toss at Wankhede Stadium, LSG scored 228 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis provided a solid start, contributing 29 runs in just 2.3 overs. Josh returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs off 5 balls, paving the way for Nicholas Pooran to join Marsh. Together, they amassed 94 runs for the second wicket in just 34 balls, propelling the team to a score of 123.
