
New Delhi, May 10: The 52nd match of IPL 2026 took place on Saturday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, featuring a clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans (GT). Gujarat Titans triumphed over Rajasthan Royals by a significant margin of 77 runs. This victory has also improved GT’s run rate, propelling them from fifth to second place, while RR has slipped out of the top four and now sits in fifth.
Gujarat batted first, scoring 229 runs for the loss of four wickets. In response, the Rajasthan team was bowled out for 152 runs in just 16.3 overs, marking their first exit from the top four this season with a substantial 77-run defeat.

Sunrisers Hyderabad leads the table with 7 wins from 11 matches, followed by Gujarat Titans with 7 wins from the same number of games. Punjab Kings holds third place with 6 wins from 10 matches, while Royal Challengers Bangalore is fourth, also with 6 wins from 10 matches. Rajasthan Royals, with 6 wins from 11 matches, now occupies fifth place.
Chennai Super Kings is sixth with 5 wins from 10 matches, Kolkata Knight Riders seventh with 4 wins from 10 matches, Delhi Capitals eighth with 4 wins from 11 matches, Mumbai Indians ninth with 3 wins from 10 matches, and Lucknow Super Giants rounding out the table in tenth place with 3 wins from 10 matches.
Despite having the same number of wins, the differences in team rankings are attributed to their respective run rates.
The Purple Cap has now been claimed by GT’s fast bowler Kagiso Rabada. After taking 2 wickets in the match against Rajasthan Royals, Rabada has accumulated 18 wickets in 11 matches.
The Orange Cap is held by Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad, who has scored 494 runs in 11 matches.
