Involved in conspiracy to divide nation: Sharif on Pakistan PM

Islamabad, April 2 : Pakistan’s Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday hit back at Prime Minister Imran Khan, stating instead of accepting defeat, he [Imran] was involved in a ‘conspiracy’ to divide the nation. Addressing the media in Islamabad, Shehbaz said a ‘treason case’ should also be registered against Khan. Imran was not ready to accept his defeat and was involved in a ‘conspiracy’ to divide the nation, The Express Tribune reported. “Opposition will bury Imran Khan’s un-democratic thinking according to the constitutional means… he will be held responsible for hurling threats [at opposition leaders after voting on no-trust motion],” he remarked. Shehbaz said Imran was taking a path that was against the Constitution and the law of the country. “He is inciting his supporters to sabotage the decision that will be taken in Parliament tomorrow,” said Shahbaz on Imran’s call for protests tomorrow, ahead of the vote on no-confidence motion.
