Infosys gains after its arm launches four mobile laboratories in Karnataka

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 1530.00, up by 8.00 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 1522.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1521.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1536.60 and Rs. 1493.05 respectively. So far 181099 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1953.70 on 17-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1377.50 on 07-Jun-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1555.05 and Rs. 1471.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 643949.35 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 13.11%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 50.40% and 20.65% respectively.

Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys has launched four mobile laboratories-also called ‘Lab Built on Wheels’-to provide cost effective diagnostic solutions and curb the spread of communicable diseases primarily among the rural population of Karnataka.

Infosys Foundation had signed an MoU with Rotary Bangalore Southwest Charitable Trust (Rotary Trust), to support with a grant of Rs 4 crore to make these mobile medical laboratories.
