Mumbai, April 4: Infinix is gearing up to launch the Note 60 Pro in India, teasing some of its standout features ahead of the release. The device was unveiled globally earlier this year.
The company has kicked off its local marketing campaign by showcasing the Active Matrix Display on the back. This innovative feature consists of a series of LEDs integrated into the camera module, reminiscent of Nothing’s Glyph interface. It can display notifications, battery status, incoming calls, and even simple animations without requiring users to flip the phone. While it may not be a practical feature, it certainly adds a unique visual element to the device.
Infinix has also announced that another feature will be revealed today at 12 PM, although most of the key specifications have already been disclosed during the global launch.
On the front, the Note 60 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The local peak brightness is claimed to reach 4,500 nits, which is impressive, but the global peak or full-screen brightness will be more critical for outdoor visibility.
Performance is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, coupled with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This configuration should be sufficient for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and casual gaming.
The camera setup features a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 13MP front camera.
Battery life is one of the phone’s strong points. It houses a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, along with reverse charging capabilities. The device runs on Android 16 with XOS 16 and has an IP64 rating for basic dust and splash resistance.
India Launch Timeline
Reports indicate a mid-April launch in India, with April 13 mentioned in several listings. Pricing details have yet to be confirmed, but more information is expected as the teasers continue.
Overall, while the Note 60 Pro may not appear radically different on paper, its rear LED system and substantial battery could provide a competitive edge in the crowded mid-range market.
