Indian Hotels Company rises on signing resort in Uttarakhand

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 396.05, up by 0.60 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 395.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 396.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 399.40 and Rs. 394.55 respectively. So far 50173 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 399.40 on 02-Jun-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 207.25 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 399.40 and Rs. 377.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 56318.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.83% and 15.98% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a resort in Naukuchiatal, Uttarakhand. This is a conversion and will be rebranded an IHCL – SeleQtions hotel after extensive renovations and expansion. With the addition of this, IHCL has nine hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands in Uttarakhand including four under development.

The 88-room resort, sprawled over 4 acres elegantly borders the famous Naukuchiatal Lake, offering panoramic views of the water and the scenic splendor of the Himalayan foothills. It will boast of a range of dining options, including an all-day diner, a bar, and a specialty restaurant on the decks overlooking the shimmering lake. The property also offers a swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, and spacious indoor and outdoor venues for social gatherings and corporate events.
