New Delhi, February 3: BJP MP Kangana Ranaut praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the recent trade agreement between India and the United States. She stated that this deal showcases Modi’s global leadership.
Ranaut remarked, “Initially, our deal with the European Union, dubbed the ‘Mother of All Deals,’ surprised the world. Today, we have received excellent news that all locally made goods will benefit under the ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Developed India’ initiatives, as the US has reduced tariffs on Indian products to 18%, significantly lower than many other countries.”
The MP emphasized that such outcomes will strengthen India’s manufacturing sector and boost the domestic economy. She credited Prime Minister Modi’s patience, diplomacy, and vision for this achievement. “The appreciation for Modi’s patience and diplomacy cannot be overstated. He is a world leader, and there is much to learn from him,” she added.
Additionally, Ranaut discussed the NDA meeting held in Delhi, stating that her interactions with party leaders serve as a source of inspiration and learning. “Most of the time, their guidance motivates us. They show us what we need to learn and how to conduct ourselves in public life,” she noted.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Naveen Jindal described the India-US agreement as a significant success for the country. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, highlighting that the US, which previously imposed a 50% tariff on Indian goods, has now reduced it to 18%.
Jindal stated that this move will help compensate Indian exporters for previous losses and reopen markets that had been adversely affected.
