ted Nations, April 13 : India has got elected to four bodies of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). These include the Commission for Social Development; Committee on NGOs; Commission on Science & Technology for Development; and Ambassador Preeti Saran has got re-elected to the Committee for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The information was tweeted by India’s Permanent Mission in the ted Nations, which thanked all Member states for voting for India. RN
