Imran ‘trying to trigger civil war’: Opposition

Islamabad, April 3 : Leader of the Opposition in the Pakistan’s National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of “trying to divide the nation and pushing the country towards a civil war”, Dawn reported on Sunday. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari also echoed the same sentiment and said that it was unfortunate that “this defeated man [the premier] is making efforts to disrupt peace”. Sharif alleged that the government was conspiring to sabotage the constitutional process of the no-trust motion, and therefore he urged the capital’s administration and police should ensure law and order in the federal capital on Sunday, along with all state institutions to ensure a smooth voting on the no-confidence resolution in the National Assembly scheduled for Sunday.
