The IDF stated that its air force intercepted a rocket fired towards Israeli forces stationed in southern Lebanon on Saturday. It noted that Hezbollah has launched rockets and explosive drones multiple times, landing near areas where Israeli troops are operating.
Furthermore, the IDF reported that it thwarted two aerial targets before they could breach Israeli territory.
In a statement released on Friday, the IDF mentioned that last week, its forces, along with Judea and Samaria border police and Shiite district police, arrested over 80 wanted individuals. This included a terrorist who had fired upon Israeli soldiers, as well as Hamas supporters, arms holders, bomb makers, stone throwers, and those launching Molotov cocktails.
The operations also led to the seizure of approximately 20 weapons, including improvised Carlo-type guns, shotguns, M-16s, pistols, hunting rifles, and M-4s. Ammunition, military gear, and incendiary materials were also recovered.
Additionally, three machines used for manufacturing weapons and ammunition were confiscated, along with seven drones and ready explosives.
The IDF reported that the arrested individuals have been handed over to security forces for further investigation, and the seized weapons have been sent to the Sha’ar District police for examination.
