Houthi Rebels Claim Precision Strikes on Riyadh Airport and Military Bases
Houthi rebels assert they executed precise attacks on Riyadhs airport and military sites, escalating tensions in the region.

Riyadh, October 26 (Daily Kiran) : Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for recent attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and several military installations. The announcement was made on Monday by Yahya Sari, a military spokesperson for the Houthis, who stated that ballistic missiles were used in the assault on the airport.
In addition, the rebels reported conducting multiple drone strikes on oil pumping stations in both the eastern and western regions of the country. Sari elaborated in a subsequent post, detailing two distinct military operations targeting Saudi troops and weapon depots in the Salh al-Din area of Aden Governorate and the Al-Wahat area of Lahij Governorate. He claimed these attacks were highly accurate, resulting in significant losses for Saudi forces, including the destruction of vehicles and munitions warehouses.
This statement followed an earlier announcement by Saudi forces, who reported intercepting a ballistic missile fired towards Riyadh by the Houthis. In retaliation, the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen stated they targeted two missile launch sites in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.
On Sunday, the Houthis also claimed to have attacked King Khalid International Airport, as well as military sites in Khamis Mushait and a naval base in Jazan. They accused the Saudi-led coalition of conducting at least 56 airstrikes on Yemen in the past 24 hours, affecting provinces such as Hodeidah, Lahij, Amran, Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz, and Ibb.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in casualties among foreign nationals, with two Indian citizens reported dead due to Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia. One Indian was killed during the October 10-11 strike on Riyadh Airport, while another lost their life in the October 21 attack on Dammam Airport. Additionally, two other Indians sustained injuries during the Dammam incident, and one was injured by debris from a drone that fell in the Shabha oil field.
