Hindutva not a political or election issue but it’s BJP’s breath – Patil

Kolhapur, Apr 16 : Bhartiya Janata party (BJP) state president Chandrakant Patil has said ‘BJP contested Kolhapur-North by-election only on development issue and Hindutva is not a political or election issue but it is ‘Shwas'(breath) of BJP’. In a press conference this afternoon after declared result of Kolhapur-North by-election in which BJP’s candidate Satyajeet alias Nana Kadam defeated by Congress candidate Ms Jayashree Jadhav, Mr Patil with congratulating Ms Jadhav for her victory, said with accepting verdict of the peoples in Kolhapur-North assembly constituency, BJP will consider on how ‘janadhar’ to be increased further in future as BJP candidate Mr Kadam has received about 78,000 votes from 41,000 in 2014 election. He said that three alliance partners of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) goverment came together against only BJP but Congress party should not be carried away as it’s majority was not more but BJP’s votes were increased in this election. He said that since there was no BJP’s goverment in the state , MVA used money, cast card and force in this by-election, even there was leap incident on him but BJP workers worked without frightened to ant force. BJP contested this election only on development issue and Hindutva was not a issue of eke toon or politics but it’s BJP’s breath as we have not hidden our stand of Hi Durga, he added. SSS JM 2049
