Hindustan Unilever zooms on reporting rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 2204.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2230.00 and Rs. 2165.55 respectively. So far 49220 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2859.10 on 21-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1901.80 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2230.00 and Rs. 2047.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 517814.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.90%,while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.27% and 12.83% respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported 8.59% rise in its net profit at Rs 2327 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2143 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.97% at Rs 13584 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 12241 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 5.34% rise in its net profit at Rs 2307 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2190 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.40% at Rs 13846 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 12542 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported 10.86% rise in its net profit at Rs 8818 crore as compared to Rs 7954 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.92% at Rs 51586 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 46509 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 11.16% rise in its net profit at Rs 8892 crore as compared to Rs 7999 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.10% at Rs 52704 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 47438 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
