Met department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in western part of state including including Bhopal, Indore and Sehore.
Due to increase in water level, barrage gates are being opened from time to time.
The state government has issued instructions to the district collectors to set up 24-hour disaster relief teams.
While, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed district collectors to remain in constant contact for quick relief measures.
